I’m boycotting the sandbox
In the hopes that anyone half intelligent does the same. I don’t expect many to realize what it was originally for, what it became and how/why it was ruined but it’s now a ground for retards and morons.
I was thinking about it all as i was browsing the topics in there, 90% of posts being stupid, none of them funny, none of them amusing, none of them remotely interesting.
It was trash, it was the shit you get through the mail, it was that annoying sales rep on the phone.
It’s pointless, it’s not something i enjoy or like, in fact it makes me view a lot of people as, sorry for my choice of words but fucking idiots sums it up rather well. I’m sure it gives off the same image of me as well at times. That’s only further proof that it is just a breeding ground for stupidity.
I’d rather have half intelligent discussions, make topics that have the potential of discussion even if they might get ignored because people are to busy writing bollocks back and forth. I’d like to demand it gets removed but of course, I’d hate to see people go, I mean just look at the last time we tweaked it we lost ult mac dady, what a pity.
So that’s that, I wont post in there again. I will of course browse, i have no choice it’s apart of my job. But beyond that I’d rather not post, i can think of 101 different things to be doing, like watching paint dry. I’d probably get a more interesting discussion out of it as well.
It’s a burden on Rsbandb and not one that i will be adding to anymore. I’m sure I’m not the only one that feels it’s a crap hole and I’m sure some people already avoid posting in there, good for you for seeing it for what it is first. Anyone that feels the same, i do encourage you to follow suit.

On topic: I still like the sandbox and won’t stop posting in it. However, I WILL admit that it is nothing back in the days of 2006. Trends trends everywhere, spam that isn’t even funny, WoWBandb, topics promoting stuff that’s promoted in other threads…
I don’t know if I was one of the idiots you referred to, but if I am, it doesn’t really bother me. You even said it yourself, it spawns stupidity. :/
What about in topics that actually deserve to be posted in? Although I have to agree that the majority of topics in there are complete crap..

I had attempts to get off that place, but it seems the rest of the forums are mostly dead and the only active section is indeed the sandbox.
I don’t know if I’m one of the people you are calling idiots but you’re right. Its so annoying opening up what looks like an interesting thread just to find ‘FAIL’ and +1’s everywhere. I also agree over half of the posts are FUCKING POINTLESS. It’s a sandbox but you could at least be sensible. You’re supposed to be 13+, you should be able to tell when someone wants a serious answer or not.
Im one of the people who use the Sandbox, but I don’t post stupid things. Hell, I rarely make topics in there and I only fool around if someone start it (Stefin). Honestly I’d like to see the sandbox gone for a bit. Bit, I would like an area thatI could post things that aren’t really important enough to count towards you post, but be serious about it.
So basically remove all the really, really stupid post and leave the semi-ok posts thenI think the sandbox would be much improved.
Meant to say that you should start a topic to have the sandbox removed temporary, so see how it affect the other forums aswell :]
Never was directing my “fucking idiots” comment at any one person, i only meant for a lot of people it brings across that view.
Imagine if a new guy comes and looks around, heads in the sandbox and sees your post - what will he think of it? It’s not that I’m calling people thick, I’m not to bright myself I’m saying it brings across that image, you could be top of your class, working in a top end job, whatever you get the idea.
And yaa i wont be making a topic about removing it something that popular shouldn’t be fiddled with to much, I’m just stating my stance on it here I’d rather post less and have some half interesting discussions instead.

No because i happily ignore topics i have no interest in. The same as i am happily ignoring the sandbox.
I might not post as much, i might not be up to date on all goings on anymore but I’m happier about it all, no retards, when i post in a thread i get a half intelligent reply.
